Hi! Ed Rosenfield suggested that I get in touch with you. I love your site!
I’m not sure how we can connect, but there’s probably some overlap. I’m currently writing a book designed to teach parents how to teach their very young children (ages 2-7) to play chess.
We teach children in various local schools, which is a blast! It’s so rewarding!
Let me know if there is anything I can do to help you!
Laura
Would like to be a part of your Bridge Google group because I am a beginner and would very much like to learn more about the game. Have taken a few classes but have had a difficult time with “card sense”. Hoping that a google group might help.
That’s great – The places are filling up so get there quick before anyone else does…
This is going to be fun and an interesting experiment that may or may not work. There is no commitment to stay with the group or anything like that, and there is no selling or marketing going on here (I don’t have anything to sell anyway). It is just about the Bridge group and what its members can do for each other.
Hi I found your BBO directions on youtube, and understood you to say you were using safari as browser. I have safari on my iPod Touch and it will not let me download any BBO material. Can you suggest something? I can get info on youtube that you and others have placed. thx bjmue/bbo/Bonnie
Hi Bonnie,
I can’t say that I know if you can play BBO on an ipod touch or not… I doubt that you can.
I am sorry but I have never tried. Perhaps someone will read your query and provide answers for you.
This is for Bonnie – the online version of BBO uses flash and the IPAD does not support flash.
Hi mark,
Just to let you know we have submited V1.2 of iBridgePlus to Apple. It should be in the store within days. I hope you’ll be pleased with the changes. We have improved the menu system – incorporated in-app video tutorials + quite a few bug fixes and improvements.
However – the one change that I think you will be happiest with is we have gone FREE !! Users get unrestricted use of software for 14 days, after which reduces to 24 hands in stand-alone mode, but still unrestricted access to online. They can purchase further 30 days access to the 2.5 Billion hands for £1.49, or a lifetime license for £13.99
Do I see a smile on your face ?? Thank you – as your comments were influential in this decision.
That is great… I think the app is a must have for Bridge players. I am a regular user of it.
