There is a saying in Bridge for those who partner with their actual partner:
“Say goodnight before you sit down to play”, or words to that effect.
Shouldn't it say, "Fantastic, nice, friendly, attractive, polite, never make mistakes bridge partner"?
It would seem that there is an expectation of friction and possible falling-out whilst playing at the Read on. . .

Bridge has a rather unsavoury disease.
Much like a fungus, the disease has penetrating fungal tentacles that are unseen, below the surface, invisible. Only in particular places and at certain times does the fungal fruit rise to the surface and bloom.
Is the fruit delicious to some, poisonous to others?

A couple of weeks ago, I was saying that Benji Acol (a system devised by Albert Benjamin), was a tad passe. Alternatively, I was suggesting, you give Weak Twos a go. It is simpler, easier to remember, and more effect in the modern game.
